Painting in oils is
a relatively new direction for me, it's one that
I hope to develop.
For the past couple of years it has the followed the path of getting to grips with the
medium, but I hope in due course that the influences inherent in my illustration work will
work their way into the paintings. At the moment my interests lie with tone and form and
the subtlety of light. The paintings in this gallery were painted during 2006/2007.
As I complete paintings this year I shall be loading them on to the 2008 page.
